The Future of Diplomacy talks series is a programme of one on one conversations between HE Omar Ghobash, Assistant Minister of Public and Cultural Diplomacy and a distinguished guest. The conversations explore the insights and ideas of significant figures from the worlds of science, technology, governance, cultural theory, history, religious studies, CVE, philosophy and mental health today.

Mr. Klynge is the Vice President of Microsoft’s recently opened European Government Affairs office.
Previously Mr. Klynge served as the world’s first ambassador to the tech industry representing Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Silicon Valley and Beijing.
The conversation will address Microsoft’s approach to COVID19 and questions concerning the benefits, challenges and responsibilities involved in partnership between big tech and government during these days of global turmoil and in the years to come.
