The Future of Diplomacy Talks Series

OPCD, in partnership with Image Nation Abu Dhabi, initiated a series on virtual film screening series to spark a global discussion around cultural diplomacy through film.
Each month, it covers a diverse range of topics from disease control, women’s education, wildlife conservation and people of determination.
Literary Conversations Across Borders
A new initiative to promote international cultural understanding through the power of books and words created by OPCD and the Emirates Literature Foundation.
The series hosts Emirati writers and commentators in live discussions with high profile experts from around the world on a variety of critical topics.
Dialogues on the Art of Arab Fashion
The Office of Public and Cultural Diplomacy presents, in partnership with the Zay Initiative, a digital talk series Dialogues on the Art of Arab Fashion.
The Zay Initiative aims to promote an understanding of the evolution of regional Arab culture and an appreciation for this unique heritage. The entity is committed to intercultural dialogue and to the empowerment of women and their stories both regionally and globally.

Cultural Marathon Symposium
Held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, a 24-hour cultural marathon symposium was moderated by UAE Ambassadors in Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Belgium/Luxembourg/European Union, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.
The symposium witnessed the participation of museum directors, artists, design specialists and heads of cultural institutions, who discussed in-depth the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic while offering insights on future trends.
